Spot a Narcissist by his Eyebrows
Its always good to stay away from them.
The problem of narcissism is being recognized to such a level that researches are being conducted on how to identify one. Narcissists being so self-centered and notorious with other peoples’ feelings, it’s always good to stay away from them.
If you are already with someone with such a personality, the options are either to trick them into therapy or kick them away. Keeping in mind the growing problem with narcissists, a study was conducted on how to recognize a narcissist by their eyebrows.

The study on Eyebrows
The study titled “Eyebrows cue Grandiose Narcissism” published in The Journal of Personality had won an Ig Nobel prize in September 2020. This study which was published in August 2018 suggested that people having bushy and distinct eyebrows are more likely to have Grandiose Narcissism.
Grandiose Narcissism is a psychological disorder where the person is characterized to show interpersonal dominance, high self-esteem, and overestimate his/her capabilities.
Portraits with neutral expressions of 39 students were taken from the University of Toronto. The portraits of 39 students included 26 females and 13 males. And the majority were white.
Those 39 students then took a standardized narcissist personality test to find out if they were narcissists. Essentially, it was to test if the subjects had narcissistic feelings and opinions.
Then, the researchers had 28 volunteers judge the portraits for the self-centric and egotistical traits.
Then, they had a different set of volunteers to judge the same portraits but flipped upside down. Research states that it helps human beings to focus on the individual characteristics of the face one by one rather than judging them altogether.
In the next part of the experiment, the eyebrows of the portraits were covered and the volunteers were asked to judge the narcissistic traits based on other facial features.
